Sunny Spring Days!

Cash got to enjoy being outside the last two days - he had a big time watching mama and daddy do yard work and soak up some rays. He's not used to that wind stuff blowing in his face though, it took his breath away every time it would blow (kinda like a dog with his head out the car window).

By the way....Ms. Sierra is going to be having her First Communion on Saturday, May 16th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick at 4:30 p.m. After that we will be having a reception for her at our house if anyone would like to come. Everyone is invited to come and join us on this joyous occasion.

Cash's 6 Month Check-up

The Cashman had his 6 month check-up on Friday, and here are all of his vitals....
Height: 27" (50-75 percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs 14 oz. (25 percentile)
Head: 17" (25-50 percentile) I can't believe it's actually small - I guess it's because it's so round LOL
Everything seems to be going great for him...he's growing like a weed!! Mama just can't believe he's getting so big!! Time goes by entirely too fast!!

Family Fun

Thursday we took Sierra to Keeneland, and boy did she enjoy herself. We would let her go out to the paddock and pick her horse, then we bet it for her. It was too funny watching her cheer her horse on....she was yelling and screaming with the best of them. She got mad when her horse didn't win too....I think she might have just a hint of a temper - lol. One of her horses did show though, so that made her very happy. Cash didn't make the trip with us, he stayed at Nana Sharon's for the afternoon....I think hauling him around all day would have been a bit much - maybe we'll take him to pick his ponies in a few years. With a name like Cash, we don't want to get him started gambling too early!!!! One more note (this will make Maw Maw very happy), Cash slept in his bed last night all by himself - no car seat!!! I'm so proud of my big boy!!!

Check Out My New Do!!

Mama and Daddy have been nursing the Cashman's 3rd ear infection. Poor little feller, that right ear has been quite the trouble maker. He's feeling better now, and loves going around with his new hair do....mama has gotten into the habit of fixing him a "faux-hawk" There's not much hair there to work with, but I can still manage. I figure I can give him ridiculous hairstyles now while he's too young to fight back, besides you have to have a microscope to even see it :)

Happy (Early) Easter

Just like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny makes an early trip to our house every year. This year he came while we where gone to a cook out. When we got home he had left us a card and all kinds of treasures. Two little kids must have been very good this year, check out all this stuff!!!
